JOB VACANCY - Graphic Designer with Social Media Skills

 

We are looking to hire a talented graphic designer with social media skills. Under the direction and supervision of the Director and Manager of Marketing, responsibilities include the social media management and content, design and production of marketing materials etc. The ideal candidate is someone who can operate in a team environment and multi task under tight deadlines. Organization is KEY for this role and the candidate must be able to prioritize and meet all deadlines.

As a social media assistant the candidate will be responsible to:

  • Manage social media channels and their content
  • Daily scheduling of social media posts
  • Maintain social media calendars
  • Assist the marketing department with the implementation of marketing plan of the brands
  • Assist with compiling market research for the brands
  • Serves as a back-up to the marketing team for the marketing activities/events that will take place

As a graphic designer the candidate will be responsible to:

  • Design attention grabbing graphics for the social media platforms
  • Research and stay updated with the social media platform changes
  • Ability to come up with interesting content for the social media platforms
  • Develop and executes design, artwork and layout solutions for marketing collateral including sales brochures, advertisements, posters, flyers, social media, promotional items etc
  • Participate in the development of design concepts for marketing campaigns including print and digital media
  • Maintains the website through the use of Word Press

Skills required:

  • Degree in Graphic Design and/or Marketing and/or Social Media or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English. Russian will be considered an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of marketing media marketing, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and stays current with and researches new platforms and software as they emerge
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat.
  • Must have 1-3 years experience with social media and graphic design
  • Knowledge of website maintenance
  • Highly organized, creative and detail oriented
  • Positive attitude, goal driven, consistent personality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
